Weekend Shows

Thursday, July 31, 2003

I’ll be at The Improv in Hollywood this Friday and Saturday at 10:30pm…Look for such acts as Marc Maron and Patton Oswalt…Other big funny names as well…I think Doug Benson and Sarah Silverman will make an appearance.

Is this “Alternative” enough for you?

Parking availble in conjunction with Fred Segal of Crescent Heights.

Also on Friday at 8pm, I’ll be at The M Bar in Hollywood off the corner of Fountain and Vine…Probably gonna do about 10-15 minutes…Lesley Wolff does a great job running this show.

Gotta run, I think the maid stole my new Roots CD…I hope he doesn’t read this.

A Basking of Saturday’s Rays

Sunday, July 27, 2003

Good evening to all…Tonight we join you from my 3rd floor office/bedroom/spa high above Tarzana, CA…Tonight’s meal consisted of cheese (mild cheddar), Wheatables, plan-wrap Kettle Corn and Coors Light….Basically, Kettle Corn is a glorified Sugar Pop.

Can’t stop watching Bravo’s Queer Eye for a Straight Guy…Just learned to shave after I shower.

*Currently, my morning regimen consists of Psyllium Husk and Red Bull…Potentially, a lethal combination.

*Cutting out soda from my diet…Just bought a Sonic Care toothbrush, now I brush twice a day.

*Working out as well…At the local middle-school, I throw a softball against the Teacher’s Lounge…The brick wall provides resistance for my professional pitches.

*People, I’m reliving my youth…Didn’t go to Prom, I didn’t go to The Fall Formal or Sophie B Hawkins…THESE are my teen years, and DAMN those who can’t take it!

Mother is designing her new pond-side condo…I’m hearing rumblings of an AIR MATTRESS for the guest room…Mom, if you can read this, please don’t get that inner-tube thing…Very impersonal and cold (I’m talking emotions here!)…I’d rather bunk with my sister.

Been doing some quality shows at The M Bar in Hollywood on the corner of Fountain and Vine…Check back for more dates…”Brody and Friend of Brody” is in the works.

The New York Yankees are in town this week…For lunch, maybe I’ll take Left Fielder Hideki Matsui to Yoshinoya Beef Bowl…

Don’t you dare call me racist!…I love Yoshinoya Beef Bowl!

Cheech and Chong are back!

Friday, July 25, 2003

Yes, you heard correct…Chong will be reuniting with Cheech for another dope-laden movie…Look for Snoop Dogg, Cypress Hill and Ludaris in their customary cameo roles.

Below is a 1996 photo of me with Tommy in Seattle…The man on the right was a young Samoan performer named Mr. Manu.

Just a couple questions…

Did Toby Maguire beat out Frankie Muniz for the lead in Seabiscut?…It’s the prequel to The Black Stallion, right?

Thank you.

We’re both Sun Devils from Arizona State University.

Byron is the Head Coach of The New Jersey Nets.

In 1985, I was the first overall pick of The Tarzana Park Recreation Basketball League…Quit mid-season so that I could focus on my JV Baseball career…plus, I got a bike.
