Guys, I’m back…Sorry for the delay.
I’m a little rusty here, so bear with me…I feel like Hopper in Hoosiers.
First off, tonight at 11:30pm I take the stage at The World Famous Comedy Store on Sunset Blvd…May or may not be bumped, you never know at this place…Is Eddie Griffin in town?…I’ll be fine, it all works out in the end…(cut to: me doing comedy at 2:06am for the Bangladeshi valets)
Hope we all Thanks-gave on Thursday, mine was fine spent in Brentwood, CA…We had cake and watched horseracing on Hollywood Park TV…Joe Pesci’s horse won, and he was there! (at Hollywood Park, not our dinner)…Gambling is all around me, but I’ve never really gotten into it…Dad played lot’s of cards, mom likes slots, grandma enjoyed nickel pan and I interacted with puppets.
Just got done viewing Kid Rock’s Driven on VH-1…I feel quite connected to Detroit…Mother was born there and my Grandfather ran the old Fox Theatre…I have playbills and photos from the 30’s, he was a big presence in the Midwestern Theatre Scene…His name was Jack Stebbins and many say I maintain a striking resemblance to him.
Yes, I said “maintain”.
Oh, and December 5-6 @ The Improv in Hollywood hosting and performing with Patton Oswald and Friends…More details to come.
