It’s been 20 years since Doug Flutie threw that heroic pass in Miami. Seems like yesterday, Boston College over the Hurricanes in a college football classic on CBS. I remember it well because it was the day after Thanksgiving.

I was at the Beverly Center celebrating Black Friday with my mother, bought a Fila sweat suit and we ate at Jerry’s Deli, used to be one in the mall, ask a historian.

And let’s not forget, great deals on LA Olympic Merchandise! Zola Budd, Mark Breland and Carol Lewis became household names, special times.

Enough with saying Tryptophan, this is everybody’s new most popular holiday word.

In the past two days, I’ve seen two working comedians out and about in public. Mind you, not Hollywood but the suburban West Valley.

Please put your hands together for David J. Nash and Bob Zany!
