Literally seconds ago I witnessed the exchange of a plunger – physically going from Starbucks to Jamba Juice.

Guess somebody overdid it on their free boost.

Like Hilary Clinton said, it takes a strip mall to raise a child.

Take a moment for fellow comedian Mitch Hedberg, found dead yesterday in a New Jersey hotel room, apparently of a heart attack.

Mitch was only 37, he will be missed.

Didn’t know him very well, did a few shows together, briefly crossed paths up in Seattle where he lived, New York, then LA.

In Seattle, I’ll always remember him hanging out with Chaz Ablin – Chaz was his buddy, your basic run of the mill Northwest open mic comedy veteran, not some uppity snob.

Check out Mitch’s site, listen to his tapes and watch the videos – this guy was a true comedic rock star in every sense of the word (Mitch, not Chaz).

Many others can and will paint a better picture of what Mitch meant to them, just thought I’d add my little piece.
