Playboy Morning Radio on Sirius 198, Thursday in the early am. I’m sitting in for the day - like Fitzsimmons on Stern but as Artie!

We interview classy people and I give my take on sports and lifestyle.

Friday at 8:30pm I’m gonna host at The Improv on Melrose. I’m there to present new comedians while continuing my search for future humorists.

Join me as I keep things real and honest on stage where they belong.

Yes I’m still at Fox, currently assisting in the Athletics and Late Night departments. Things are looking good over here :)
Back to you at the upfronts.

LAX - Seattle - Orange County - Burbank - Vegas - Here

That’s what I do. Match it!

Last Monday evening I decided to meet the New York Yankees in Seattle.

As the story goes, Tuesday night I lay my head down in the Fairmont Olympic just two doors down from Bronx Bomber Head Strength Coach Jeff Mangold.

And so it began…

Cruised the Downtown Emerald City with the ease of a former resident, which I currently am. Enjoyed a Wednesday lunch with two prominent members of the team. As we walk back, who gets spotted? Me. By a lady working at Sephora. She remembered my TV show from back in the day. Talk about a long lasting moisturizer.

End each paragraph with comedy.
Again, match it on YOUR blog!

On the bus with Johnny Damon and Mike Myers as we head to Safeco Field for Game 2 of the series. They get it, they’ve accepted me. Why can’t You Tube do the same?

*comfortable in Seattle

I should write a column for a magazine on what it’s like to be a regular guy in this crazy world of fame and hero worship.

Brody: removing layers

This is what you get when I take a few days off from the Internet.

More celebrity interaction…

-famed LA Sportscaster Jim Hill hurrying across the street in front of my car at Burbank Airport on Saturday morning. I yelled at him, I said “Jim Hill is allowed to jaywalk in this town!”. I laughed, he smiled. Would have run him over at LAX though.

-Matthew Lillard at the airport as well. Same flight to Vegas on Southwest. I had a B. He was in C. I should’ve booked Summer Catch! That part was for me Matt! (nice guy, he was funny on our Fox Sports show with Dax)

-Oh, last week I sat next to Walter Koenig (Pavel Chekov) from Star Trek on the flight back from Sin City. He knows Jimmy Pardo the comedian.

-Got spotted again in Seattle, Thursday night at the game. He was a vendor, outside and illigal.

-Chatting it up with new Talk Show host Greg Behrendt at the airport. This after the Hill and Lillard incidents.

Gosh, this is getting long.

Then I went down to Anaheim.

I’ll be back later with more nuggets of chuckles.

Like my plane being delayed in Vegas, sent back to the gate because of a loud and drunk passenger sitting right next to me.

Five words to describe him: UFC type from Simi Valley.

Down the road, me on September 5th with Sarah Silverman and others at UCB in Hollywood - also September 30th for the CDR Anniversary Show at the same venue.

Tonight I’ll be at the M Bar on the corner of Fountain and Vine for a fine fantastic show. Think it’s sold out, very industry.

Brody: successfully bringing the right and left together for the past 11 years

In the biz we call this a double sign off.

Friday Night Base Touch

Friday, August 18, 2006

That’s what this is. The internet is a great thing but sometimes it stresses me out. Next month I’m gonna go back to focusing on my televised stand-up career.

For example, tens of thousands can see me on a Comedy Central re-run right before or after paid programming. Compare that to my click totals on MySpace and You Tube and the writing is on the wall.

I’m no Clell Tickle.

In exercise mode, shedding kilos and inches. Stabilizing the core, adjusting my posture, doing yoga in the deep end with goggles.

Flying outta Burbank tomorrow afternoon. Gonna park in Jay Leno’s spot down the street at NBC. Let’s be honest, they always show that parking space on TV in some skit. Plus they don’t tape on Saturdays, Kevin Eubanks and Stuttering John are on vacation and I’ve taken this bit too far.

Just a reminder, most Saturdays I’m in Vegas working on the Pokerdome Challenge, look me up in the bar at Circus Circus. Wednesdays at 6am on Playboy Morning Radio, Sirius Channel 198, I sit in with two dudes and hot chicks. Still assisting at Fox Sports with Best Damn, doing my thing, dictating the atmosphere.

Wouldn’t mind getting back out on the road, make a CD, record a DVD, snap some headshots, update my business card and design a couple fliers.

I’m also ready for network laughter, several sets ready to go.

…have read my blog today.

That’s cool.

I get it, catching your drift.

Within 20 minutes I’ll be active for 40. Swim, rope jump, ball work, throw and stretch. I’m the new Bruce Jenner, Grambling’s White Tiger.

Looking for good food in Vegas? How about the coffee shop at Binion’s? They’re always on my invoice. Downtown is how I roll, which means Snake Eyes - coincidentally being sold for 2 bucks on VHS behind the El Cortez in a ramshackle discount liquor store.

How’s that for creating a visual?
