Thanx-Give Week-Stuff

Jaime Foxx was tremendous tonight on the American Music Awards. He’s a fantastic singer. Can’t wait to hear him on the soundtrack for Miami Vice. I wanna go to that premiere so bad.

Vegas was great. The Comedy Festival at Caesar’s Palace? Even better. Anytime you share the stage with Sarah Silverman, Brian Posehn, Jeffrey Ross and Zach Galifianakis it calls for a celebration (hey guys, wait for me!). How about craps with Jason Giambi and Kid Rock? Yep, that too.

What about a friendly personal conversation with famed sportscaster Barry Tompkins? Crossed that one off the list.

From this point on I refuse to get involved with the Michael Richards/Kramer international fiasco. He was wrong and out of touch, leave it at that. Keep in mind, stuff like this has been going on for years in the clubs. I’ve heard the N-word and seen worse (Yours Truly :) - kidding.

But seriously, this is what happens in today’s world of happy comedy. The audiences get soft and way too defensive. The show Yo Mamma offends me. Instead of officially complaining and making a stink, I vent on my blog and don’t watch.

I say chill on the outrage. We’ve got more important things as a nation to worry about, like global warmth, health care, graffiti, muslims group-praying in the airport and atm fees.
